Choose the profiles needed for the door

    1. Mortise and Tenon Profiles

Mortise and tenon doors are made by inserting tenons (like pegs) into mortises (a slot for the peg to fit into), creating snug joints holding the pieces of the wood door together. The pieces of wood creating the vertical frame of the door are called stiles, and the pieces of wood creating the horizontal frame of the door are called rails. The center panel is held in the middle by the stiles and rails. In order to order mortise and tenon doors, we need to know the interior profile, the exterior profile, and the center panel profile of the door.

These moldings are held together with finger joints and hold the center panel in the middle of the door. For mitered doors, we need to know the mitered profile and the center panel profile of the door.
