Light, compact and impressively powerful - the popular compact drill design with more torque and power now on the 18-volt platform. The 18-volt CXS/TXS 18 compact drill-driver is both small and power for most everyday applications – perfect also for narrow spaces or corners. Fast tool change with the tool-free FastFix interface and the CENTROTEC system. Practical and useful details like the magnetic onboard bit holder, the adjustable LED light and the lid compartment Systainer³ make the CXS 18 a compact powerhouse you will reach for time and time again.

CXS 18-Basic

  • Compact design

    With a length of 6-5/32" (15.6 cm) and a height of 8-1/8" (20.6 cm) (incl. battery), the CXS 18 is extremely compact.

  • 18 volt power

    Compact in size with full-size capabilities with the power of an 18 V battery. Ideally suited for all applications with screws up to 1/4" (6 mm). All 18-volt lithium-ion battery packs fit on the CXS 18 (except for the Ergo battery pack).


  • Impressive performance

    The CXS 18 also performs impressively when working with Forstner drill bits up to 1-3/8" (35 mm) and screws up to 1/4" x 9-1/2" (6x240 mm) in softwood.

  • Optimal lighting

    With the integrated LED light, you can work precisely even in dark corners – continuous lighting, afterglow or LED off can be controlled via the onboard dial. The brightness and duration of the afterglow can also be customized via the Work App.


  • Built to work with you

    Always at your side, keeping your hands free : The belt clip can be positioned for right and left-handed users.

  • Customizable settings with the Work App

    Easy configuration of the right-hand/left-hand selector switch. LED control to adjust the brightness, the duration of the afterglow and the duration of the continuous light. Easily adjusted with a Bluetooth® battery and the Festool Work App.


  • Convenient bit storage

    The integrated bit holder provides space for multiple bits – magnetically retained against falling out.

    The angle attachment is perfect for work around corners and reaching concealed screws at tight angles. Bits can also be inserted directly into the holder of the spindle for work in narrow spaces.


  • Robust Keyless Chuck for nearly all bit types

    The chuck accepts bits up to 3/8" (10 mm) shank and is included with the drill – for all bits with a smooth shank. Tool-free mounting via the FastFix interface.

    With the rear handle position, the ergonomic C-shape puts the user more in line with the bit for more precise work and less fatigue.
