When you called in to speak with us, the question at hand was if we sent the item that was purchased. In this case, the item was a 'Colorflex Colormatch', which we utilize the information Kampel -- the company that makes Colorflex -- provides to us on which Colorflex color matches closest to the various laminate brand colors (for your order, Formica Autumn Indian Slate 3687). That is the item we did send you and Eric did his best to explain that while you spoke with him.
On the product page we state the following in the description (as well as an image of the Formica color swatch with a tube of Colorflex showing):
This Colorflex colormatch has the following properties:
Colorflex SKU: CF8050
Formica Colormatch: 3687 Autumn Indian Slate
The product you received was Colorflex number 8050, which in this case, is the closest match Colorflex stated for that laminate. From our understanding, you received in the past (not from us but a different place) a custom color matched caulking that matched closer than what we offered. We apologize you are not satisfied with what was provided to you from our store, however, we state all of this information on the product page to allow customers to understand they are receiving a colormatch that is dictated from 200+ colors that Colorflex offers. We provide the name of the caulking from Colorflex, and we state this is the colormatch they designated. This is not a custom color matched caulking specifically for the laminate color listed.
